We will use the barn at Hanna's family's house to host the wedding reception. The barn is very large, but wasn't in its current state ready to hold a wedding reception in. In the early summer of 2010, we spent about a week preparing the barn with as much help as we could muster from friends.
The building itself was sound and needed little work doing to it. The main things that needed to be done were clearing everything out of the barn, cleaning and painting it (partly, at least), fixing up some extra lighting and making the floor nicer.
The week went extremely well and we got a huge amount done. The barn now looks great!
