We've been considering for a long time where the wedding will be held. We have been weighing up the possibilities of Edinburgh and Vörå, Hanna's home parish in Finland. We can now say almost for certain that it will be in Finland. Soon we hope to decide on a date and book the church, at which point we will be able to announce with absolute certainty!

We have been talking to Fr Tim in Edinburgh and waiting for responses from various Catholic authorities on the technicalities of our plans. We have also been in contact with Tomas Klemets, the parish priest in Vörå and met with him when we were in Finland last week. It now looks like nothing will stand in the way of our plan of having a Catholic wedding, being married by Fr Tim, in the Lutheran church in Vörå.

This means we can proceed with other plans, now that we have a (more or less) certain answer to the basic question of location.
